In order to be served from CDN and local web server the test/test.html will serve the automated test link.

The link initially is pointing to the local in project node_modules/intern instance. As in source, distribution, or CDN environment the intern will reside in different locations, JS will test the availability of test file and point to its available location in order

  1. ../../node_modules/intern - for distribution, assuming intern is embedded by npm locally.
  2. ../../intern - for project source level if xml4jquery embedded into your app via npm
  3. ../../../node_modules/intern

NOTES. First ../ refers the xml4jquery.js level. The use of particular intern revision TBD
